Know thyself! Well done, Davina. You take all the rest you need. You can't help others until you help yourself, and you are role modeling exactly how to do it. You take care, and we will look forward to whenever you feel up to the next post. In the meantime, see you in notes! Bless you, and hugs!
Rest. Your body is telling you something, and it is good that you are responding! Love that Beatles tune by the way. I saw the album cover here in your post and just started singing "I'm sooo tired, I haven't slept a wink"
Davina -- these wise words and the invitation to pause are the very medicine I need. I just came from being with a branch of my family that is quite focused on achievement and accumulation and although I know that's not my path anymore, it can take a few days for the "am I doing enough?" in the air to fully be exhaled and out of my body. You remind me of the seasons that a field needs to fallow, adjacent to the ones being harvested. My field is being inhabited by countless micro-beings celebrating the process of good soil. Upon reflection, this body-community that moves in me may be a feral orchard that drops its fruit for the benefit of the habitat.
You've taken the field and grown a whole orchard out of it. I love that you did that. And what you say about it taking days to exhale the 'am I doing enough?' after being around feels so true. Rest gently.
